Under the divine mandate of Emperor Justinian I, the Empire is no longer merely surviving—it is reclaiming its birthright. From the sands of North Africa to the rugged peaks of Italy, the Roman eagles fly once more. With the brilliant General Belisarius leading the charge and the codification of our laws ensuring justice, the Byzantine Empire stands as the sole bastion of civilization in a changing world. But restoration comes at a price. Treachery stirs in the hippodromes, the Sassanid shadow looms to the East, and the Vandals and Goths cling to stolen lands. The Mediterranean is a Roman lake once more, but for how long? The choice is yours: Will you take up the gladius to restore the borders of our ancestors and defend the Orthodox faith, or will you be the spark that turns the Nika riots into an inferno?
