Description
The Elite JMF Unit (JMF Elite Unit) was established on 7 July 2008 at the initiative of Tunku Ismail Ibrahim (who was the Raja Muda of Johor at the time) to protect the Johor Royal Family. This unit, which receives specialized training from the Grup Gerak Khas (GGK) Commandos, was formed to enhance the special combat capabilities of the Johor Military Force (Askar Timbalan Setia Negeri Johor, ATSNJ).
