Slesvigske Jægerkorps - Schleswig Hunter Corps The Slesvigske Jægerkorps was one of Denmark's "Korps" of skirmishers, specifically a light infantry unit. This unit was conscripted of young men from Schleswig. During the Napoleonic Wars, the Jægerkorps was commanded by one of the most famous generals in Danish military history, Generalmajor Johann von Ewald. The unit was one of the first Danish units to see combat during the war in under Ewald and saw notable combat at the Battle of Sehested. Regiment Type: - Light Infantry
