The Pennsylvania State Police was created by an act of the legislation which was signed into law by Governor Samuel W. Pennypacker on May 2, 1905. It was the first uniformed police organization of its kind in the United States. PSP is responsible for the enforcement of the all the roads within the state, but primarily focuses on the state's highways. PSP also acts as an assist to the local police who are lacking that extra backup needed for various situations. For any questions or concerns that you may have, please contact the State Colonel. State Budget Limit: The Pennsylvania State Police may only employ a max of 80 Officers, nothing more. This group and any of its affiliate groups are not associated with any real-life police/government institutions.
