Divisi Profesi dan Pengamanan Polri, or the Professional and Security Affairs Division — the internal affairs arm of the Indonesian National Police, and arguably the most feared institution inside the institution itself. This is the body that investigates police officers who cross the line: abuse of power, criminal conduct, ethics violations, and disciplinary breaches committed by the very people sworn to uphold the law.
