It’s time we face reality... Every day 2.47 Million Trees are cut down. 80,000 acres of forest disappear from the earth every day! There are more than 3 trillion trees left in the world. In about 99 years we will have cut down more then 47 billion trees! On the bright side millions of trees are being planted each day, and we can help by planting just one tree each. Today, only 23% of land excluding Antarctica and 13% of the ocean remains free from the harmful impacts of human activities. More than 70% of remaining wilderness is in just five countries: Australia, Russia, Canada, the United States (Alaska), and Brazil. In the 1940s there was still more then 50% wilderness remaining. Animals are also affected by the forests we are cutting down. Ranks Believer: A believer that one day we can replant billions of trees.
