Clad in their distinctive golden cloaks, they patrol the streets, keep the peace, enforce the King's laws, and stand ready to defend the Red Keep against any threat. From the bustling markets of Flea Bottom to the gates of the Red Keep, the Goldcloaks maintain order where chaos seeks to reign. Thieves, murderers, smugglers, and traitors alike learn to fear the sight of their golden cloaks and the sound of their marching boots. Though not knights of the Kingsguard, every Goldcloak is expected to uphold discipline, courage, and unwavering loyalty to King Daeron II Targaryen and the Iron Throne.
