Description
𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐲 The Tenth Army was formed in June 1944 at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii with the original intent of being the headquarters element for the land forces of the planned invasion of Taiwan. Following a conference at Pearl Harbor, it was decided to invade the Philippines instead of Taiwan.
