—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—· ❀ "la collectionneuse", formerly named "guistelle", is a children’s fashion house that was founded by palmyre guillot during 1802, shortly after the french revolution. with an extraordinarily creative mind, guillot transformed discarded fabrics into extravagant garments for her three young sons. her craftsmanship quickly gained notice, leading to tailored commissions from admiring mothers and fathers. as guillot's business was passed from generation to generation, the legacy of "guistelle" continued to grow. it was during the early 1910s that the youngest of the current family, pacifique chatel, gained ownership of the brand after the mysterious passing of his parents. from a young age, pacifique had shown a keen interest in fashion and design, and he quickly made several changes to the brand to modernize it, renaming "guistelle" to the more sophisticated "la collectionneuse". ❀ —·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—·—· located in toulouse, france.
