♔ In 1573, the House of Knicks endured a major shift when Leoric Knicks the 2nd, Earl of Cambridge, met his death unexpectedly. He left behind a complex legacy, and a title of Head of the House of Knicks to his son, Augustus. When Queen Elizabeth heard the news of Augustus's ascension, she gave him and his wife, Euthalia, Elizabeths cousin, the titles of Duke and Duchess of Norfolk. Due to his rise in status, Augustus, his wife and his two younger sisters were forced to leave their childhood home in Norwich and move into their ancestral estate that Augustus's cousin, Lord Isaac, held, and would lose as Augustus inherited it in his place. Leoric's children now find themselves navigating a tense and uneasy household in an estate where they do not belong. It became clear that prestige had come at the cost of peace. Resentment grows as his cousins mourn the power they've lost, and Augustus will soon learn that they will go to great lengths to gain control of their supremacy again.
