Description
In 1862, the River City Police Department was originally an unofficial group of Liberty County residents who broke off from the Sheriff's Posse to combat rising crime rates among fellow residents, stemming from disagreements within the Posse. In the year 1870, the group and the local government established the River City Police Department to manage the residents' safety and maintain law and order in River City, appointing the department’s first Chief of Police the same year. Since its establishment, the department has grown into what it is today - working alongside the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office. Interested in joining?
