Hotel New Grand in Yokohama, Japan, is a front for the Yakuza, a notorious organized crime syndicate. The hotel is involved in various criminal activities: Money Laundering: The Yakuza uses the hotel to disguise illegal funds as legitimate earnings through fake invoices and transactions. Recruitment: The hotel offers exclusive VIP memberships to recruit individuals into the Yakuza. Staff members are bound by contracts that make them property of the Yakuza, ensuring compliance and loyalty. Blackmail: When guests or staff discover the illicit activities, the Yakuza plants evidence of crimes to manipulate and blackmail them into silence. The syndicate sometimes takes families, relatives, or friends of those who uncover their operations hostage to ensure compliance and silence. Despite its appearance of luxury and prestige, Hotel New Grand is deeply involved in criminal activities & serves as a significant Yakuza Stronghold.
