Description
LIBERACIÓN is a community rooted in an alternate history of the Philippines—one where José Rizal’s vision of a sovereign, internationally recognized nation, achieved through diplomacy and representation, is not silenced but answered. Set in the heart of the Victorian Era, the archipelago is a nation at war with itself. Unity is no longer a question of if, but how: through revolution, reform, or liberation. Tribal warlords, educated ilustrados, and low-class farmers are drawn into the same storm, each faction vying for control, survival, and the future they believe the Philippines deserves. Across the countryside, isolated Spanish garrisons—cut off from supply lines and imperial command—are left to fend for themselves. Some fortify and resist. Others surrender, placing their fate in the hands of enemies amid the jungles, mountains, and forgotten towns of a collapsing empire. In LIBERACIÓN, history fractures, ideals clash, and the future of a country is forged.
