The entities The Foundation captures are called "SCPs" and are given a number designation such as "SCP-049" and have traits that make them unique, these traits do not follow natural law and are unexplainable by science, hence why The Foundation was created to capture these entities and study them for further usage in todays society or for just general understanding.
