𝙲𝙾𝙻𝙳𝚂𝚃𝚁𝙴𝙰𝙼 𝙶𝚄𝙰𝚁𝙳 "𝚂𝙴𝙲𝙾𝙽𝙳 𝚃𝙾 𝙽𝙾𝙽𝙴" The Second or 'Coldstream' Regiment of Foot Guards was formed in 1650 by Colonel George Monck. It was formed into the New Model Army of the English Republic. Eleven days after it was formed it was used to defeat a Scottish Royalist Force demanding the monarchy to return, it is one of the longest serving regiments in the British Army currently.
