The Royal Air Force It is the RAF's Soul purpose is to defend the skies of the United Kingdom. We train our recruits to be the best and all we accept from them is the best that they can do. We do a lot of things in the RAF, Such as: 1. Defending the skies of Britain and projecting Britain's power and influence around the world. 2. We have to be ready at a moment's notice, night or day, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. 3. The RAF works with partners around the world to strengthen national and international security and to protect the interests and influence of the UK and our allies. 4. The RAF is monitoring potential threats to UK airspace 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our Current fleet: Fighter Aircraft: F35B Lightning - On Order Trainer Aircraft Hawk T1 - On Order Transport Voyager (AAL) - On Order C-17 Globemaster - On Order C130-J Hercules - On Order ISTAR Shadow R1 - On Order Helicopters CH-47 Chinook
