Description
Emboldened by the American Revolution, the people of Louisiana Territory decided that hey, too wanted independence from their mother country. Seizing their chance during the early stages of the French Revolution, the people of Louisiana managed to secede with the southern half of the territory, forming the second republic of the New World.
