United under the banner of High King Aurelius I—the so-called “Lion of Saint Elandor”—the Imperium declared itself the chosen sword of the Church and the ordained shield of Europa. Rooted in High Gothic tradition and sacred canon, Aurelic fused divine right with militant governance. Its golden sunburst cross—an emblem of rebirth and conquest—came to symbolize the empire’s mission: to illuminate the pagan dark and bind the fractured realms under one sanctified rule.
