♱ 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒖𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒄 ♱ “By Light, Crown, and Cross” Backstory: Forged in the crucible of the 11th-century Holy War of the Vallis Reaches, the Greater Imperium of Aurelic rose from the ashes of feuding Nations and collapsing kingdoms. United under the banner of High King Aurelius I—the so-called “Lion of Saint Elandor”—the Imperium declared itself the chosen sword of the Church and the ordained shield of Europa. Rooted in High Gothic tradition and sacred canon, Aurelic fused divine right with militant governance. Its golden sunburst cross—an emblem of rebirth and conquest—came to symbolize the empire’s mission: to illuminate the pagan dark and bind the fractured realms under one sanctified rule.
