Collegium Maritimum #1045153450
RoleplayENhistorical roleplaymaritime traderoman empire
Description
A prestigious mercantile and maritime institution devoted to commerce, navigation, shipcraft, and overseas enterprise. Descended from ancient maritime traditions inspired by Phoenician and Mediterranean trading powers, the Collegium Maritimum commands influence through wealth, ports, fleets, contracts, and foreign relations rather than military conquest. Its members are merchants, navigators, harbor officials, shipwrights, financiers, explorers, and masters of maritime trade. Within the Roman world, the Collegium serves as the bridge between distant provinces, foreign markets, and the empire’s economic lifeblood. “Mare Opes Parit.”
