Description
Roughly forty miles east of Toronto, the city whose glow reflects off lake Ontario, sits Whitefish bay. On a travellers map, it's just a small detour off of highway 67. Really, it is a town trapped in a chamber of its own creation. It’s the year 1996, with grunge and nu-metal on the radio, technology like cellphones being an uncommon commodity, and the internet a novelty for the few. In Whitefish bay, time seems to have curdled up, with the air always being damp, the shadows and fog stretching too far at night, and locals who’ve lived here long enough are obscurely silent and distant from outsiders.
