𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐎 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐃𝐄𝐋 𝐑𝐄𝐘 "¡𝙑𝙄𝙑𝘼 𝙀𝙎𝙋𝘼𝙉𝘼!" "𝙋𝙇𝙐𝙎 𝙐𝙇𝙏𝙍𝘼!" The 'Inmemorial Regiment of the King' is the most senior regiment of the Spanish Army, and is considered the oldest military unit in the world. In 1766 the regiment became known as the King's Infantry Regiment and became the first regiment of the Spanish Infantry, it also saw it's time fighting during the American War of Independence.
