Anomalies where causing issues all around the world. There needed to be a stop. That was the birth of the SCP Foundation, a company dedicated to Securing, Containing and Protecting SCP Objects. They created many sites for this. But it was becoming to complicated to manage all the sites. So they created a site above all of their other sites. Area - Gamma. The true beginning of the SCP Foundation. We Secure, We Contain, We Protect. That is, and always will be our prime directive.
