Description
After the surrender of Spain to the Americans, they sold the Philippines for 20 million dollars. Some of the Spanish colonizers that were still in the Philippines left and returned to Spain and some remained in the Philippines to live for the rest of their lives, and some joined with the First Philippine Republic that was led by Emilio Aguinaldo to fight against the Americans. This group is that Spanish colonizers particularly from the military that joined the First Philippine Republic.
