Description
Born of Sisyphus and blessed by Aphrodite’s springs, our dual harbors became the wealthiest jewel of the Isthmus under the wise rule of Periander. Yet our immense prosperity invited Roman envy, and despite the fierce resistance of the Achaean League, our city fell to their legions. Roman colonists now pace our streets, but our Hellenic spirit remains unbroken.
