Description
The Penal Battalion of the Alamo Territorial Guard (ATG) is a disciplinary and high-risk formation composed of convicted criminals, military offenders, and individuals serving reduced sentences through compulsory service. Established to conserve manpower during periods of heightened unrest and frontier instability, the battalion operates under strict supervision and limited autonomy. Personnel assigned to the Penal Battalion are typically employed in hazardous combat roles, rear-area security, infrastructure protection, mine clearance, riot suppression, and high-attrition operations where regular units are either unavailable or unsuitable. Service terms are harsh but clearly defined: exemplary conduct and survival through mandated deployments may result in sentence reductions, restored civil rights, or transfer to regular ATG units.
