Description
19세기 아시아, 제국주의의 날카로운 검이 아시아를 향한 시대, 이웃 나라들은 서양과의 수교하는 가운데, 조선은 통상수교거부정책을 단행하였다. 이방인 선교사들을 처형한 병인박해, 대동강에서 난리쳐 불태워버린 제너럴 셔먼호, 흥선대원군의 아버지 묘 도굴 사건 등 조선은 서양에 대한 반감을 드러냈다. 하지만 1871년, 미국은 제너럴 셔먼호 배상 요구와 조선에게 통상수교를 강요하였으나, 조선은 거절하였다. 미국은 조선이 일으킨 짓에 대한 책임을 지게하려고 근대화 된 무기로 조선을 처들어온다. 조선군이 되어 미군의 강압 통상수교를 거부하거나, 미군이 되어 굳게 닫혀 있는 조선의 문을 강제로 개방하려고 하라.
