Description

The Regiment is well known for their valiant action of attempting to save the ###### life during the battle of Quatre ##### where they carried the Duke away on their muskets. The Regiment fought with valor throughout the entirity of the Napoleonic Wars - Most notably during the Peninsular War, and Waterloo; where the Regiment is credited for saving a detachment of British Foot Guards at Hougoumont. Apart from this, the Regiment fought in the Battle of Olper against the Westphalians, and the recapture of Braunschweig - killing 600, while only losing 60.
