Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne). ODA 5111: Specializes in Direct Action as it is apart of a Critical Threats Advisory Company (CTAC) or previously known as Crisis Response Force (CRF). ODA 5111 is A Company’s premier direct-action and counterterrorism element, specializing in high-risk raids, hostage recovery, rapid precision strikes, etc. The team executes surgical assaults, and dismantle high-value threats with speed and accuracy. When A Company needs a fast, lethal, and decisive response—5111 is the tip of the spear. Motto: "Nous Défions" "We Defy" ODA 5112: Is A Company’s general-purpose SF team, focused on unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, and long-range reconnaissance. The detachment excels at training partner forces, executing ambush and guerrilla tactics, and conducting independent operations deep in contested areas. 5112 provides the company with a flexible and highly adaptable combat element ready for any mission profile.
