The Guardia Real (roughly meaning "Royal Guards"), are the sworn protectors of the Spanish royal family, acting as bodyguards as well as law enforcers. The sole duty of the Guardia Real is to ensure the safety of the royal family through any means necessary, and are permitted to take any actions that they have to in order to fulfill their duty. Excluding the Spanish royal family and the generals of Imperial Spain, the Guardia Real are the most senior and respected authority within the Spanish Empire. "NUESTRO DEBER, SU PROTECCION!"
