Description
1 out of every 3 people will have dementia when they die, but Alzheimer's Is the 6th leading cause of death in America. It effects more than 5 million people every day. Alzheimer's is a form of dementia that effects behavior, thinking, and memory. It gradually gets worse and worse as time progresses. There is no cure for Alzheimer's currently. Together, we must raise awareness. There are also different forms of Alz's, even kids can get a type of it but it's pretty rare, There are other neurodegenerative diseases with dementia in children, but NPC is the one that's gotten tagged with the label 'childhood Alzheimer's but there are promising tests that they could find a care for that one soon!! Also Scientist used to believe that only people 60+ could get it but they are learning people get it younger too, my dad as a example got it when he was young so I've always known that it was possible but rare, but it is becoming less rare in younger people 30+ to get it.
