Clad in uniforms bearing the white and gold of the Keys of St. Peter, its soldiers are both warriors and guardians of the faith, trained in the arts of war yet bound by vows of obedience to the Supreme Pontiff. The Exercitus Pontificius is more than a mere military—it is a visible manifestation of the Church Militant, a reminder that the Papacy, though spiritual in its essence, will not leave the flock undefended when wolves draw near.
