Description

𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 Waverley Council employs professional lifeguards to protect visitors at Bondi. These Professional lifeguards wear blue uniforms and work for 365 days every year. The volunteer lifeguards wear red and yellow uniforms and assist the Bondi lifeguards on the beach at weekends and on public holidays during the summer period. What qualifications do our lifeguards have? The Lifeguards must go through certificate training to then perform or drive to an emergency. They must get their Basic Life Support Certificate, Advanced Resuscitation Certificate, their Driving Certificate for the Rhino's, and finally their Jet Ski Certificate. Note, to get to Trainee Lifeguard and be eligible to join the team, you must attend a training and pass that training when they are hosted.
