Description
1300AD Inspired Alternative History Game The Hundred Years' War between England and France was a defining conflict of the century. The war saw intense battles, sieges, and shifting alliances as both sides sought dominance over territory and influence. Iconic clashes like the Battle of Crécy and the Battle of Agincourt showcased the devastating impact of advancements in weaponry, such as the use of the longbow by the English. The rise of powerful city-states, like Venice and Genoa, also brought a different aspect to warfare. Their wealth from trade allowed them to field well-equipped and trained mercenary armies, often clashing in maritime conflicts or engaging in land-based campaigns for territorial expansion. Additionally, the Teutonic Knights in the Baltic region fought to expand their territory and influence, engaging in campaigns against tribes in Prussia and Lithuania.
