Hidden from society in a dense, foggy fraction of the Amazon Rainforest sits a beautiful waterfall. Very few people know of this location, or what it means. Behind the shimmering, clear waters is a misty pathway, or "portal" to the afterlife. ---------------------------------------------------- The spirit realm consists of floating islands that sit just above the Earth's atmosphere. Mortals who can see the islands usually have an odd spiritual connection with their ancestors. These select people are extremely rare. There are a few categories for these deceased beings. The Angels, the Wraiths, and the Neutral. The Neutral spirits are the only souls that don't have a ruler, or "god", you could say. The ruler of the Angels is Aeryn.
