And lo, the heavens were rent asunder, and from the veil of shadow rode forth four horsemen — heralds of the end and keepers of divine wrath. Each bore the mark of his dominion: the Sword, the Scales, the Bow, and the Scythe. They came not for conquest, but for cleansing — to purge the world in flame, famine, pestilence, and death, that a new dawn might rise from the ashes of the old. Their armor was gold, tarnished and stained with blood, for glory and ruin are one and the same. And all who behold their coming shall know that the time of man hath reached its twilight, and only those who kneel before the dust shall glimpse salvation.
