The Confederacy of Independent Systems ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The Confederacy of Independent Systems is a self-declared confederation of thousands of star systems from the Inner to Outer Rim that declared independence from the corrupt Galactic Republic. The CIS is currently engaged in the Clone Wars starting in 24 BBY against the Republic. The CIS was established by Count Dooku, as the Head of State. The Confederacy was founded on the grounds of excessive taxation and corruption within the Republic Senate and general feeling of dissatisfaction towards and neglect by the Republic-centric Core Worlds.
