After the Battle of Austerlitz, Bavaria received the province of Tyrol as a gift from France. A significant turnaround in the war began after the Battle of Wagram, where Bavaria, with French support, crushed the Austrian army. In the Russian campaign of 1812, the Bavarian army supported the advancing French army until its retreat from Russia in 1813. Established 15/05/2021
