𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗗𝗜𝗢𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗘 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑 The Archdiocese of Lander is the newest denomination presiding over the Clark–New Haven area. Originally founded in 1625 under the Prefect Apostolic of Luchtvaart, Martin Dumont, the small pockets of Catholics established parishes that grew the young town until 1665, when the city was annexed from Wallonia to Britannia. Under Anglican rule, the Catholics suffered, with many being pushed out. The Lander Church was seized in 1774 for suspected support of the colonists' rebellion, being given to the Anglican communion, which would grow to be the most influential force in Lander until 1781. Although today much of Lander is still Anglican, a growth in Catholic populism and South American immigration has boosted its presence.
