Ruled by Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine. It ruled for years through peace. With a mighty military force including Clone Trooper legions, and a gracious Starfleet consisting of star destroyers and starfighters. The Republic seemed unstoppable and permanent for millennia to come.
