REINO ESPANOL 🌿 WAR OF INDEPENDENCE 🌿 During the War of Independence, also known as the Peninsular War, Spain was locked in a fierce fight against the invading French forces. The Spanish population bravely resisted, forming guerrillas and participating in numerous uprisings against Napoleonic rule. Under the leadership of figures such as General José de ####### and the guerrilla fighter Francisco de Goya, the Spanish defended their homeland with determination and courage. Despite French military superiority, the Spanish resistance proved to be a formidable force, forcing the invading troops to fight in hostile terrain and coming under constant guerrilla attacks. The Peninsular War became a symbol of Spanish resistance against foreign occupation and left a lasting legacy in the country's history.
