Description
The 17th Rangers Company is a rogue WN-affiliated faction formed from a former Ground Service Personnel (GSP) scout unit that abandoned its command structure following prolonged mismanagement and internal breakdown. Originally tasked with reconnaissance, scouting, and forward observation, the 17th was known for its efficiency and independence in the field. However, repeated operational failures, lack of direction from command, and growing dissatisfaction among its members led to a breaking point. The situation escalated when the unit’s second-in-command initiated a coordinated desertion, taking the majority of the company with them. Now operating independently, the 17th Rangers retain their expertise in stealth, mobility, and reconnaissance, but apply it with far less restraint. Their intimate knowledge of standard procedures and convoy behavior makes them a persistent and unpredictable threat, capable of disrupting operations before a proper response can be organized.
