Αναπαύσου εν ειρήνη (English: Senate and People of Byzantium) Welcome to Byzantium, otherwise known as the Eastern Roman Empire. The Byzantine Empire was the successor to one of the most famous nations of antiquity, marching on for "The Senate and People of Rome" for another millennium after the Western Empire dissolved. The Byzantines continued to exist until the Ottomans captured Constantinople in 1453. -To become a Citizen, wear any Roman related attire. -To join the military, become a citizen and complete the Limitanei course. PM the Censor or the Imperator with proof of completion. ☧
