Description
The Scientific Department was created in order to research and study all of the anomalies known as SCP on-site and to learn more about them. They conduct tests on SCPs with Class - D in order to gain more knowledge on how it functions and to test their hypothesis statement. This also allows the Scientific Department to assist with manufacturing new containment zones due to the knowledge they have about the SCPs and how they interact. Some divisions within this department like the Anomalous Biochemist which specializes in chemistry and works with The Medical Department to create cures and research diseases.
