Royalty and Specialist Protection, also known as RaSP or Protection Command, is a branch of the Metropolitan Police responsible for providing protective security to royals and high ranking government officials. RaSP provides stationary and mobile protection across the length and breadth of the United Kingdom and also accompanies their VIP overseas, neutralising any threats posed towards their personage.
