An Alternative History Nation ∎▬▬▬▬▬∎ Year: 1957 ∎▬▬▬▬▬∎ Capital: Jacksonville ∎▬▬▬▬▬∎ Capital County/Territory: Jackson ∎▬▬▬▬▬∎ Population: Est. 25,000 ∎▬▬▬▬▬∎ In 1926, growing tensions within the United States of America led to the outbreak of the Second ACW, waged over state rights. By 1928, the U.S. collapsed and uprisings and state vs state conflicts began occurring. In 1931, the "North West Republic" formed, but dissolved following a tsunami that winter. That same year, Oregon State plunged into civil war and formally dissolved. In 1933, the State of Shasta annexed Curry, Josephine, Jackson, and Klamath counties to expand their ever-growing state. However, in 1935, Curry, Josephine, and Jackson counties, followed shortly thereafter by [Sis ki you] and Del Norte counties seceded to form the State of Jackson, which formally gained independence in 1941.
