Officer Training Corps (OTC) The Officer Training Corps is the foundation of leadership within the British Army. Our role is to train, develop, and prepare future officers with the skills, discipline, and mindset required to command troops effectively. Through structured training, leadership exercises, and tactical scenarios, recruits learn the core values of the British Army: discipline, respect, teamwork, and professionalism. Progression within the OTC is based on merit, commitment, and leadership ability. Those who successfully complete OTC training will be eligible for commissioning and advancement into the officer ranks, where they will lead soldiers both on and off the battlefield. Train to lead. Lead to inspire.
