2nd QUEENS OWN RIFLES - The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada was originally raised as the Second Battalion, Volunteer Militia Rifles of Canada in 1860. It's first combat action was at the Battle of Ridgeway during the ###### Raids on June 2nd, 1866 where it lost 9 men with 21 wounded. It later fought in the North-West Rebellion (1885), 2nd Boer War (1899 - 1902), and both World Wars. The regiment is still in active service today. - This regiment is tryout only, therefore if you do not pass the tryout you will not get in.
