Description
In 2035, the Russian Federation is on its last legs after decades of economic instability and corruption bringing the country to its knees. The nation has been dictated by the same President for 36 years after a law was signed in 2021 allowing him to remain in office for life. Both ordinary civilians and law enforcement forces, are on strike, there is increasing resistance from nationalists, communists, separatists and democratic forces. Separatism has once again hit Chechnya and Dagestan, also reaching Idel-Ural, where the inhabitants of several republics have begun to protest and form militant groups against the Russian government. Baikal is a group of democracy inspired militants formerly serving the Russian Spetsnaz but eventually abandoning their posts and taking up arms in Siberia seizing several strategic points including nuclear bases, oil fields and others that they need your help defending.
