Commando Nord-Viêtnam n° 24 'Vandenberghe' "Les Tigres Noirs" The North Vietnam commandos, light units with auxiliaries supervised by French non-commissioned officers and officers were created with the objective to strike the Viet-Minh using the same methods as them. Commando No. 24 known as “Vandenberghe” commando, all dressed in black, which were later called “The Black Tigers”. Having perfectly understood and imitated the method of the independentist guerrillas of infiltration on the rear of the adversary, and with great meticulousness, the commando increased tenfold the effectiveness of attacks.
