Description

Le 1er régiment de parachutistes d'infanterie de marine (ou 1er RPIMa) est un régiment parachutiste des troupes de marine faisant partie des forces spéciales de l'armée française et dépendant du commandement des forces spéciales Terre. Maintenant la tradition des unités de parachutistes SAS de la France libre et d'Indochine, ce régiment est la seule unité en métropole à utiliser la devise « Qui ose gagne » traduite de la devise des SAS britanniques « Who Dares Wins »2. Sommaire Création et différentes dénominations Fait rare dans l'armée française, la filiation du 1er RPIMa est multiple et indirecte. Le régiment hérite à la fois de formations de l'armée de l'air, de l'infanterie métropolitaine, des troupes coloniales puis des troupes de marine.
